Meet the Team

 

Carolyn Bauerschlag is a Broker Associate and CPA at Compass Real Estate. She works with her team to provide our clients with the best service experience possible while helping them sell, buy, and invest in real estate. Carolyn focuses on developing strategies that protect our clients' financial interests, providing detailed market insights, negotiating contracts, and communicating frequently and openly throughout transactions.

 

Carolyn helps clients understand the macro- and micro-economic forces that affect market conditions during a transaction so that sellers can maximize their proceeds in a sale and buyers can get the most value in a purchase. She specializes in navigating simultaneous sales and purchases, working with retirees, assisting first-time home buyers, and helping investors build their real estate portfolios.

 

Carolyn has a BBA in Accounting and an MS in Marketing from Texas A&M University. Prior to her career in real estate, Carolyn worked at Ernst & Young LLP, where she researched accounting policy at the National Practice in New York City and audited public and private clients in Houston. Carolyn is a native Houstonian and proud supporter of the Katy ISD Education Foundation.
